Cutting-edge research and targeted guidance in development policy.
Context
USAID’s Bureau for Policy, Planning, and Learning (PPL) engaged Dexis to help advance core PPL priorities and strengthen the Agency’s position as a thought leader on key development and policy issues.
Approach
The Dexis policy analysis team performed research and produced guidance to inform Agency-wide policies and strategies in areas ranging from financial inclusion and gender integration to youth development. The team developed cogent analytical pieces, delivered presentations on emerging priorities in global development, researched “what-if” scenarios and other policy analysis inputs, and cultivated strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders. The Dexis team also worked to improve the Agency’s capacity for evidence-based decision-making; develop tools and processes to support increased policy integration; and contribute to knowledge sharing and learning through papers, articles, and engagement opportunities.
