Dexis Consulting Group Acquires Checchi and Company Consulting, Inc.

Dexis Consulting Group announced today its acquisition of Checchi and Company Consulting, Inc.

Checchi and Company Consulting was established in 1973 to promote social and economic development in developing and transitional countries. The company is currently a leading USAID contractor providing rule of law and anti-corruption project management around the world. James Agee, President of Checchi and Company Consulting, and other members of its management team will continue to lead the business as a subsidiary of Dexis.

Dexis Consulting Group will now be a company with around $100 million in annual revenue and over 500 employees working in the United States, Eastern Europe, Central and South America, East and West Africa and Afghanistan serving primarily USAID, Department of State, and Department of Defense. The company will have an active long- and short-term presence in a total of 80 countries on behalf of its federal clients.

“Dexis’ acquisition of Checchi is another important step in executing our strategy of expanding our service offerings and growing our multi-agency presence,” according to Mihir Desai, Dexis CEO and founder. “Dexis’ services in support of global stabilization and security assistance and its customer-focused culture align well with the business the Checchi family has built over nearly five decades. Checchi will maintain its brand and staff. It’s a great firm and we want to keep it that way. ”

Dexis was founded in 2001 and is a leader among professional services firms that support US global stability objectives through civilian security and prosperity programs.
