James oversees Dexis’ Governance practice area within the International Development Division, which was formed after Dexis acquired Checchi and Company Consulting. James leads the management of Dexis’ rule of law and anti-corruption projects worldwide. As President at Checchi, he oversaw business development and rule of law portfolio and earlier served as Chief of Party for a USAID-funded rule of law project in Afghanistan. Prior to that, James served as Chief of Party in the Philippines and in Indonesia and as The Asia Foundation’s Assistant Representative in Indonesia. James is a U.S. Navy veteran and speaks Indonesian.
