This assessment studied the impact of USAID’s ten-year investment in promoting the development of a politically active civil society in the Dominican Republic. A team of U.S. and Dominican evaluators assessed a wide range of projects and activities ranging from civic education, advocacy, and NGO capacity-building to election monitoring and support for judicial sector reform. The team’s final report included strategic recommendations for future programming.
