Mexico – Rule Of Law III

Under a subcontract, Checchi provided technical assistance to USAID/Mexico’s Rule of Law III Program, with a focus on strengthening law enforcement. Among other activities, Checchi assisted with the development of a comprehensive training and continuing education program for police officers. Checchi helped design and implement programs to train police in such subjects as the new criminal justice system, criminal investigation and human rights. Checchi also assisted in the development of courses to train trainers in order to promote the sustainability of these programs.
